LIVING ENVIRONMENT for 012
In our study we use "Living environment for 012" to resemble the room that is being used beginning from the 3rd month until the end of age 12. Typically, that is the room for the babies, toddlers, children and juvenile. Not even every age, especially in the beginning every month returns you a new problem with new needs, new expectations and dramatically changed new dimensions.  This makes the subject a very interesting problem in terms of its dynamic content. There is much to be told but that is what we believe to put forward with the projects of this semester with your participation and collaboration. We all wish a you a successful and happy semester.

The course will be held in a different format this semester. In this format, students choose the person who will instruct her/him in the semester. For this purpose, all the students present their design idea regarding the living environment for 012. As usual, this is a presentation. For this presentation only, no format is imposed to the student. (all kinds of visual media, drawings and free hand sketches are acceptable). As much as your idea and your presentation impress and convince jury members, your chance to be chosen as a member of their design group will be increased. Keep studying hard!! May be two or more jury member may invite you to come to their group at the same time. That time you will be able to choose the instructor whom you want to work with. In the semester, it is your duty to keep all your drawings.
Lecture and Discussion

PRESENTATION
A presentation  on existing modular systems in living environments for 012 will be made.
BE PREPARED !!!

Discussion
Your design idea has matured a bit. Still, you have chance to express and discuss your design. In small groups including your instructor you will discuss your project. Catch new points and fresh insights in this discussion. Add to your project, before drawing your system.
Sketch Problem
Sketch drawings of your idea and conceptual approach.

We would be eagering to see how your system transforms to facilitate different functions. And how the spaces in between your modular system units house different activities such as being used as a playground.   Also, rendered perspectives and detailed models (assembled with proper media to represent real materials and color) of your system and impressiveness of your presentation will be evaluated.
Week 7

BE PREPARED !!!
Your instructors will identify points on your ortographic drawings and ask for details. This is the second time that you will work on detail drawings. Naturally, much is expected. Also, you will not find another time this semester to work on detail drawings in the class with professional guidance of your instructor. So, come to class prepared.
